Health Sciences Centre is located on Prince Philip Drive and it is very close to Memorial University's St. John's campus, about 10 minutes walk. The hospital located in this center is open to public and it provides various health-related facilities and services to the community. The hospital is also a teaching hospital and it is associated with Memorial University's Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing.
The Faculty of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, and Centre for Collaborative Health and Professional Education are also located in the Health Sciences building. As well, Canadian Blood Services is situated nearby that is just a few blocks away from the Health Science Centre.
