Arts and Administration has a variety of units and services such as Classics, Board of Regents, Economics, English, Faculty Relations, Financial and Administrative Services, Gazette, History, Legal Counsel, Sociology, Student Recruitment Office, English Language Research Centre, Marketing and Communications, Robert G. Reid III Theatre, Centre for Institutional Analysis and Planning (CIAP), Vice-President (Academic) and Vice President (Administration and Finance).
They are 16 departments under Memorial University's Faculty of Arts and they are: Anthropology, Archaeology, Classics, Economics, English Language and Literature, Folklore, French and Spanish, Geography, German and Russian, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology, Women's Studies. Additionally, Faculty of Arts offers a number of interdisplinary programs, diploma programs, and joint programs ( i- Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Commerce program, ii- Master of Employment Relations program ).
Financial and Administrative Services is located in the building, it offers services such as Administration, Disbursements, Accounts Payable, Customs, Tendering, Research Accounting, Cashier's Office, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Financial Systems Budgets, and Printing Services.
Also, this building is home to the President's Office including the office of the Vice-President (Academic) and Vice President (Administration and Finance). Dr. Gary Kachanoski is the 12th president and vice-chancellor of Memorial University of Newfoundland since July 1, 2010.
At the first floor, you will find a small cafeteria selling coffee and snacks. Vending snack and drink machines are also available in this building.
