There are several units and services that are located in Education building. The units and services are Distance Education, Learning and Teaching Support (DELTS), International Centre, Killick Centre for E-Learning ResearchMedia Production Services, Newfoundland Quarterly Foundation, and Folklore and Language Archive.
There are a wide range of degree programs offered by the Faculty of Education including Bachelor of Education ( Primary / Elementary ), Bachelor of Education ( Intermediate / Secondary ), Bachelor of Education ( Intermediate / Secondary ) Conjoint with the Diploma in Technology Education, Bachelor of Music Conjoint with Bachelor of Music Education , Bachelor of Music Education as a Second Degree , Bachelor of Education (Native and Northern), Bachelor of Education (Post-Secondary) as a First Degree and Bachelor of Education (Post-Secondary) as a Second Degree, Bachelor of Special Education. The Diploma programs include Diploma in Adult Teacher Education, Diploma in Native and Northern Education (T.E.P.L.), and Diploma in Post-Secondary Education. Additionally, there are several programs offered for graduate students such as Educational Leadership Studies, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Studies, Post-Secondary Studies, Counselling Psychology, Information Technology, and Master of Arts and Education.
This building provides access to tunnel system that leads to many other departments such as library, faculty of science, and on-campus housing. As well, vending snack and drink machines are available in this building.
