Preheat oven to 160 Celsius. In a bowl, mix all nuts (pecan, walnuts, almond and pistachio) with sugar. Then add in ground cinnamon and cloves in the bowl and mix them well.
Brush a square (13X9) baking pan with some of the melted butter. Lay 8 sheets of phyllo in the bottom of the pan, brushing each phyllo sheet with the melted butter or cooking spray before laying down the next sheet.
Spread the nuts mixture evenly on the sheet just enough to cover the sheet. Lay 6 sheets of phyllo over the nuts, brush each sheet with melted butter or cooking spray. Spread the nut mixture on top of the sheet. Repeat the same method and make sure you finish the last layer with phyllo.
Sprinkle the top of the baklava with water. Bake the baklava for 50 minutes.
To prepare for rose favoured syrup, mix hot boiling water with sugar and stir it well. Then add rose water into the mixture. Leave it aside.
Once, baklava is cooked cut it into diamond shape. Lastly, pour rose flavoured syrup on top of the baklava.
